1.Have a look at all my work on this website- colour palettes, foliage, shapes, sizes and style. This will help you understand pricing and what you like. (Price is loosely based on size and complexity).
2.A ‘brief’ is created which includes information about size, colours, likes, dislikes, timeline and budget. The brief is refined and a quote with approx timeframe is provided.
3. This timeframe will outline when to expect your concepts, when your actual painting will be started and an appropriate delivery window. Eg. I usually require one week for concepts, two-four weeks to paint, and one week to frame (if you want framing). Around 4-6 weeks in total (depending on size and complexity!)
4.I require a 40% non-refundable deposit to book in the commission and we begin working together! Upon payment of the deposit I order your canvas and frame and get started working on concepts for you in line with your brief.
6. I experiment with the colour palette and design elements in line with the brief during the concept creation and finally refine a direction down to 3 painting concepts. The digital concepts are extremely accurate to what your final piece will look like. Once you choose your concept we can make any final adjustments needed to ensure you are super happy!
7. I start painting according to our agreed timeline.
8. Once the painting is complete your painting is framed and then delivered to you once the balance of your invoice is paid :)
Please Note: I offer a small limited edition print run of many of my paintings through my website and stockists. Please let me know if you do not wish me to create prints of your piece.
